CONTEXT
FitMind is a mental wellness learning hub offering guided courses in mindfulness, productivity, and emotional resilience. Despite its comprehensive library, users reported difficulty navigating to the right resources, staying motivated, and tracking their mental health progress.

PROBLEM DEFINITION
How might we design a personalized and habit-forming user experience that helps FitMind users easily discover the right mindfulness content and stay consistently engaged in their mental wellness journey?
DISCOVERY
Users want personalization — Most users prefer curated or recommended content rather than browsing multiple course categories on their own.
Progress visibility boosts motivation — Seeing measurable progress or receiving positive reinforcement helps users stay committed to their mindfulness routines.
Simplicity reduces friction — Overly complex interfaces lead to drop-off; users respond better to clean, calming, and focused layouts.
Ideate + Iterate
CONTEXT
The ideation phase focused on simplifying the course discovery process while introducing subtle habit-building nudges. We explored ways to visually support calm, clarity, and emotional connection.

DESIGN + PROTOTYPES
After finalizing the design, I polished it further and built a quick prototype.
Results
The “My Practice” page gave users a simple way to log and reflect on daily sessions, leading to a 40% increase in weekly engagement.
A redesigned course filtering system helped users find relevant mindfulness topics faster, reducing navigation time by 60%.
Smart personalized suggestions encouraged users to continue their journey with the next best session, leading to a smoother experience and a 25% increase in course completion.”.
